You Can't Take it With You by George S. Kaufman

This play revolves around the life of an eclectic family. It was very important that multiple “rooms” onstage could be visible at the same time. Because of that I created this very open plan arrangement. I was inspired by the idea of placing these hard lines around the more eclectic group.

 

Now these “walls” are actually designed so that all of these spaces can be used as projection screens. During the climax of the show there is a large explosion, and the projections would have been used to illustrate that along with changes throughout the show.
