The African Company Presents: Richard III was performed as part of the 2022 season at Great River Shakespeare Festival. The set, designed by Rodrigo Escalante, functioned as a static base set, with different elements for the three different shows taking place.

This show really relied on the wooden elements onstage, with the main deck being a core part of the visual world. Here, I'm including some process photos on that, along with closer looks at the backdrop and set as a whole.
